🙏 Celebration of the Great Luang Phor Pan Image 🙏

Wat Pan Prasit Aram held a grand celebration of the great Luang Phor Pan image on 31 August 2025. Buddhists from all directions came to pay respects and make merit.

The event included a midday meal offering to the monks, merit-making ceremonies and cultural activities reflecting local wisdom, such as water performances, boat paddling contests (Hua Bai Tai Bot), sea boxing, and free meals for the public.

There was also a communal Pha Pa (forest robe) offering ceremony and a cultural light-and-sound show featuring Khon masked dance and a celestial dance, along with a colourful fireworks display.

The atmosphere was full of faith and community spirit, a major merit-making event that keeps Buddhism and local traditions alive.
