On the morning of Saturday, 13 September 2025, Wat Pan Prasit Aram held the tradition of offering alms to monks by boat at Pikka Floating Market, in the traditional way it is held every week, from 07:30 to 08:30.

Buddhists and visitors brought rice and dry food to make merit, while monks paddled along the canal collecting alms, a beautiful scene that is now rare to see.

The atmosphere was full of faith and the smiles of the community, including visitors who came to experience life on the water and to browse and support local goods at Pikka Floating Market.

This activity is not only a way to make merit; it also helps to #PreserveBoatAlmsGiving, a long-standing tradition that ties together faith and community life.
